Polène unveils a floral pop-up in Paris featuring recycled leather flowers, celebrating craftsmanship and sustainable luxury.
The French leather goods brand Polène has opened a temporary store at its Paris headquarters, located at 67 Rue Montmartre, where the spotlight is not on handbags but on flowers. Under the concept Leather Florist, the brand introduces its Plèi line: a collection of handcrafted flowers made from leftover leather offcuts from its production process.

Far from having a commercial goal, the initiative aims to showcase the artisanal spirit of the brand. Each flower — including orchids, dahlias, and birds of paradise — can take up to 3.5 hours to craft by hand. Prices range from €60 to €95, and each purchase comes with a hand-arranged bouquet of dried flowers created on the spot.
In 2023, Polène reported revenues of €142.7 million and is now facing both growing international demand and a sustainability challenge: repurposing up to 60% of leather that would otherwise be discarded. With Plèi, the company gives this material new life without compromising on aesthetics or exclusivity.
The collection will be available until 26 July. Its presence will soon expand to cities like Copenhagen and Milan, though in limited volumes—reaffirming Polène’s commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and conscious design.
