Roberto Cavalli unveils ‘Gold Obsession’ in Milan, a Spring Summer 2026 collection by Fausto Puglisi celebrating sensuality, gold and freedom.
Roberto Cavalli showcased its Spring Summer 2026 collection in Milan under the name ‘Gold Obsession’, a proposal crafted by Fausto Puglisi that turns gold into the ultimate symbol of sensuality and confidence. The Italian house delivered a runway filled with drama, iconic references and uncompromising femininity, reaffirming its position within international luxury.
The designer drew inspiration from legendary figures such as Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra, the elegance of Nan Kempner, and the effortless charm of Jane Birkin in Saint-Tropez. These references shaped a narrative where femininity is multifaceted, free and precise, with pieces that merge fluidity and haute couture craftsmanship.

On the runway, standout fabrics included fil coupé, treated lace, three-dimensional jacquard and liquid jersey, which added movement and texture to gowns that celebrated desire with every gesture. Denim, part of Cavalli’s DNA, returned with renewed strength through low-rise flared trousers, lace-up details, metallic finishes and a sophisticated twist when integrated into embroidered dresses and bustiers.
Highlights included pleated dresses and trenches printed with trompe l’oeil effects, alongside a breathtaking lace gown assembled with suede in Moorish-inspired motifs. These creations revealed Puglisi’s talent for balancing daring sensuality with technical mastery.

Accessories reinforced the house’s aesthetic: the snake motif appeared on sandals, handbags and jewellery, while playful micro bags referenced the Serpentine fragrance, merging fashion and identity in a single expression.
With ‘Gold Obsession’, Roberto Cavalli strengthens its legacy through audacity, creative freedom and the timeless allure of gold, sealing a season where instinct and luxury once again take centre stage.
