Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are working on a new non-superhero movie as Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters.

As Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters, franchise star Ryan Reynolds revealed that he and his co-star Hugh Jackman are already working on a new film.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Reynolds confirmed that their next movie won’t be about superheroes. “We have one that we’re thinking about doing soon,” he shared, though he didn’t disclose further details about their upcoming project. He also spoke about their working relationship, saying, “I would say our working relationship is like any successful one that works: it’s that we both support each other.”

He continued, “I’m always pushing Hugh to succeed and win. I also know the subtlety of his heart and his mind and who he is. I can say firsthand that not only is he someone worth betting on, but he’s also someone you can’t not bet on.”

The duo will reprise their roles as Deadpool and Wolverine in the third Deadpool movie, which will see them teaming up against a common enemy across different timelines.
