Sandro pays tribute to Louise Bourgeois with a capsule collection where art and fashion converge, highlighting her textiles and spirals in exclusive pieces this summer.
The French brand Sandro has taken another step in its connection with art by launching a capsule collection inspired by the work of the iconic artist Louise Bourgeois. In collaboration with the Easton Foundation, the ‘Louise Bourgeois x Sandro‘ collection will hit stores in April, offering a unique proposal where fashion and art merge with unparalleled expressive power.

Bourgeois is renowned for her imposing spider sculptures, one of which sold for $32.8 million in 2023, making it the most expensive artwork ever sold by a female artist. However, her work with textiles, such as the piece ‘Ode to Oblivion‘, has been the main inspiration for this 15-piece collection. Prints based on her spirals and fabrics evoke her childhood memories and creative universe.
To enhance this experience, Sandro will present immersive installations at Galeries Lafayette in Paris and Bloomingdale’s in New York, featuring mirrors to create a kaleidoscopic effect. Additionally, the collection will be showcased in select stores across China, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, and South Korea.

With this collaboration, Sandro continues its global expansion strategy, embracing the fusion of art and fashion.
