Shakira shone at the 2025 Grammys with an impactful medley, celebrating her birthday and taking home the award for Best Latin Pop Album.
The 2025 Grammys featured one of its most memorable performances thanks to Shakira. The Colombian superstar, who celebrated her 48th birthday on the same day as the ceremony, dazzled the audience with an electrifying medley of her hits.
On the stage of the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Shakira began her performance with a setup that evoked her Arab roots, wearing a sparkling gold bra and a fringed skirt. To the rhythm of ‘Ojos Así’, the singer mesmerised the crowd with her unmistakable hip movements before transforming into a striking bodysuit to perform ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53’, the anthem that propelled her back to the top in 2023.
The success of the night didn’t stop on stage. Her latest album, ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’, won the award for Best Latin Pop Album, further cementing her place in the music industry.
The 2025 Grammys, once again hosted by Trevor Noah, were broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. The ceremony was marked by many iconic moments, including Beyoncé‘s leadership, who topped the list of nominations with 11 mentions.
