Sharon Stone revives her iconic aura in Mugler’s new campaign, reinterpreting 24 archive looks with power and sensuality.

Mugler has unveiled its new Re/edit campaign, a contemporary ode to the maison’s archive that reimagines 24 of its most iconic designs from 1985 to 2000. Leading the campaign is a figure who perfectly embodies the provocative and visionary spirit of the house: Sharon Stone.

The actress, who walked for Manfred Thierry Mugler in 1992, reconnects with that legacy in a series of images that evoke the intensity of her legendary role as Catherine Tramell in Basic Instinct. This time, however, the narrative is reversed: Stone commands the scene with a presence that challenges the gaze of others. There is no literal remake of the famous interrogation scene, but rather a feminist reinterpretation where the actress is the subject, not the object.

Photographed with an aesthetic reminiscent of the drama of Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin, the campaign highlights Mugler’s three key aesthetic pillars: sculptural tailoring, lingerie as outerwear, and red carpet theatricality. From sharply tailored shoulder suits and impossibly cinched waists to sheer dresses and impactful corsetry, Re/edit is a celebration of power and desire.

The collection will be available from September on Mugler’s official website and selected retail locations.
