Supreme pays tribute to Spike Lee with a capsule collection in collaboration with 40 Acres and a Mule, blending film, culture, and fashion through pieces inspired by ‘Malcolm X’ and ‘Clockers’.
The explosive new collaboration between Supreme and 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, the legendary production company founded by Spike Lee and Monty Ross in 1979, celebrates Lee’s cultural impact with a collection that reimagines two of his most iconic films: ‘Malcolm X‘ and ‘Clockers‘.

Named after a broken promise made to freed slaves following the American Civil War, 40 Acres and a Mule has been the driving force behind all of Lee’s cinematic work, from documentaries and feature films to his iconic Air Jordan ads and music videos like ‘Public Enemy’s Fight The Power‘.

The Supreme x 40 Acres collection features a varsity jacket with a circular patch of the production company’s logo, “Supreme” lettering across the chest, and a large “X” on the back, a direct nod to Malcolm X. Other highlights include a baseball jersey styled like a player’s kit, two T-shirts (one showing Lee with a camera, another bearing the signature “X”), and a cap embroidered with Clockers imagery.

This fusion of fashion and film honours a career that has influenced generations, bringing Spike Lee’s legacy from screen to street with style and purpose.
