SZA and Doja Cat have released a new version of “Kill Bill”. Their latest collaboration features a rap verse by Doja.
“I’m depressed, so I bought a bunch of roses and cut them on your doorstep/ Your new neighborhood is beautiful/ I paid a lot of money for the fragrances you wore when we were dating/ And I sold some lemonade just to pay for them.”raps Doja in the first verse as she continues to paint a picture of killing her ex. The song then transitions to SZA’s original chorus.
For the most part, Doja’s appearance on the track was unexpected. The duo only hinted at their latest collaboration a few hours before releasing the new song when Doja tweeted at SZA. “Sis… I did something wrong,” Doja wrote, to which SZA tweeted back, “Jesus…what is it?”.
The original version of Kill Bill appears on SZA’s second album, SOS, released in December 2022. Listen to the latest version of “Kill Bill” below.
