The first images from the highly anticipated ‘Wicked’ movies have been revealed, showing the 29-year-old star, Ariana Grandeand the 36-year-old actress, Cynthia Erivoin the roles of Glinda and Elphaba respectively.
The Director Jon M. Chu shared the photos on his Instagram account on Sunday, April 16, along with the caption “You weren’t told the whole story – what happens when you stray from the yellow brick road?”.
Wicked’ films, currently in production in Oz, are scheduled for release in 2024 and 2025. Ariana Grande provided an update on the status of the filming of the movies. Cynthia Erivo also commented on Chu’s post, expressing her enthusiasm for working on the films.
