The Weeknd postpones Hurry Up Tomorrow and cancels his Rose Bowl concert due to the wildfires in Los Angeles.

The Weeknd has announced the postponement of his upcoming album Hurry Up Tomorrow and the cancellation of his scheduled Rose Bowl concert as a show of solidarity with the victims of the wildfires currently affecting Los Angeles County.

In a statement shared on Instagram, the artist said: “Out of respect and concern for the people of Los Angeles, I have decided to cancel the Rose Bowl concert originally scheduled for January 25th. This city has always been a profound source of inspiration for me, and my thoughts are with everyone affected during this challenging time.” He also announced that the album’s release will be rescheduled for January 31st, explaining that his priority is to support the recovery of the impacted communities.

Fans who purchased tickets via Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds, while those who purchased through other means will need to contact their point of purchase.

Hurry Up Tomorrow, the final instalment of the trilogy that includes After Hours and Dawn FM, will also be accompanied by a feature film starring Jenna Ortega, Barry Keoghan, and The Weeknd himself. This gesture highlights the artist’s empathy during times of crisis and reaffirms his connection with Los Angeles and his fans.
