A$AP Rocky hints he and Rihanna are expecting a girl at ‘The Smurfs’ premiere, sparking buzz among fans and media.
At the blue carpet premiere of ‘The Smurfs’ in Brussels, A$AP Rocky may have just let slip one of the most anticipated celebrity secrets: the sex of his third baby with Rihanna.
When Entertainment Tonight co-host Kevin Frazier asked, “Is that the girl you’ve been waiting for?”, Rocky smiled and responded, “It is, man, it is,” while holding up a Smurfette figurine — the character voiced by Rihanna in the upcoming animated film. Although he quickly tried to deflect, the moment fuelled speculation that the couple is indeed expecting a girl.
Rihanna stunned in a pastel blue custom Chanel look with sheer fabric, sequins and feathers, showing off her growing baby bump with signature elegance. The premiere follows their joint appearance at the 2025 Met Gala, where they confirmed the pregnancy, and comes just one day after the duo attended Paris Men’s Fashion Week, with their youngest son Riot even making a sweet front-row cameo.
Already parents to sons RZA (3) and Riot (22 months), the couple’s growing family seems to be fulfilling a shared dream. “Rihanna has always wanted a big family,” a source previously told PEOPLE. “They feel incredibly grateful and excited for this next chapter.”
