Yungblud releases the second chapter of his conceptual album ‘Idols II’, introduces ‘Suburban Requiem’ and announces a sold-out world tour.

Yungblud is once again accelerating his creative universe. The British musician has officially released the second instalment of his conceptual project ‘Idols’, available via Capitol Records/Locomotion, expanding a musical narrative that has already surpassed 500 million global streams.

The new chapter features six previously unreleased tracks, alongside his collaboration with The Smashing Pumpkins on ‘Zombie’ — a GRAMMY®-nominated single that reached No.1 on Alt Radio and became the fastest-rising solo release of his career. The central track of the record is ‘Suburban Requiem’.

Speaking about the emotional direction of the project, the artist explained: “The first part was about reclaiming my identity from the darkest place in my life. The second is about realising I’m still here, that I’m alive, and that feeling like yourself can make you invincible.”

A physical edition will arrive later this year, including a 180g audiophile vinyl, a double LP and a CD compiling all 19 tracks from ‘Idols’ and ‘Idols II’, alongside a transparent silver vinyl edition with alternative artwork.

The first album, ‘Idols’, released in June 2025, secured his third consecutive No.1 in the UK. Shortly after, he achieved another milestone with ‘One More Time’, his collaboration with Aerosmith, which also topped the British charts.

His global impact was further recognised at the GRAMMY® Awards, where he won Best Rock Performance and received three nominations across rock categories — an unprecedented achievement for a British artist in a single year.

Yungblud will now bring this new chapter to the stage. His 2026 North American tour begins on 1 May and is already sold out, following a UK arena run that confirms the most commercially powerful moment of his career to date.
