Zendaya made the most of an unfortunate wardrobe mishap and ended up looking as stunning as ever.
The 26-year-old Emmy-winning actress walked the red carpet on Thursday at the inauguration of Bulgari Hotel Roma in Rome, wearing a dazzling black Valentino suit. Underneath the suit, she wore a sheer mesh blouse and pointed black high-heeled shoes. Her curly bob hair completed the stylish look.
Although Zendaya’s outfit appeared effortless, she revealed that the suit wasn’t the original plan. In her Instagram story, Zendaya wrote that the original dress she was supposed to wear got “lost in transit.”
“So we got this suit an hour before the event,” Zendaya wrote. “When in doubt… a @maisonvalentino suit :)” She also tagged her longtime stylist and collaborator, Law Roach.
Zendaya has been the face of Valentino since 2020 and has worn countless pieces from this luxury brand.
As one of Bulgari’s ambassadors, Zendaya attended brand events throughout Italy, along with Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Anne Hathaway, and other celebrities.
