Zendaya, the star of ‘Euphoria’, is the latest House Ambassador of the French Maison.

Zendaya is the new Ambassador of the House of Louis Vuitton. The French fashion house debuted its first campaign starring the Golden Globe-winning actress on Thursday, showing the Euphoria star alongside her iconic Capucines bag.

Photographed by the photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott Zendaya appears in the foreground of E-1027, the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin home designed by pioneering modernist architect and industrial designer, Eileen Gray. Designed by Law Roach who can be largely credited with Zendaya’s pioneering fashion sense, the campaign sees the star posing with a series of Capucines iterations in tow. Among them, a miniature Capucines BB makes its debut.

Winner of the 2021 CFDA Fashion Icon Award, Zendaya is among the industry’s top tier of trendsetters. Notably, in March, she sat front row at Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2023 women’s runway show, and her relationship with the leading Maison will continue to strengthen through her position as ambassador for the Maison.

The Capucines bag, launched in 2013, is named after Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, the street where Louis Vuitton cut the ribbon on its first store in 1854. Now, the quintessential accessory is among the brand’s most recognizable creations, with full grain Taurillon leather and various styles, including hand, shoulder and messenger.

Zendaya’s Capucines campaign will be released worldwide in print and online on April 20, 2023. Feast your eyes on Z’s Louis Vuitton debut in the gallery here.
