Zendaya dazzled with a tribute to Cher at the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, wearing an iconic dress by Bob Mackie that evokes the legendary style of the singer.
Zendaya paid homage to the iconic Cher during the pre-ceremony for the ‘2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’ in Cleveland, Ohio. With the help of her longtime stylist, Law Roach, the actress chose a design from the legendary Bob Mackie, known for some of Cher’s most memorable looks. On this occasion, Zendaya wore a dress from Mackie’s haute couture collection, ‘Foreign Intrigue,’ from fall 2001.

The spectacular dress was nude-colored, featuring crossed straps and adorned with gold and white beads and sequins, highlighting Zendaya’s signature elegance. She completed the look with an embroidered white silk trench coat that mirrored the same details and extremely high golden heels by Christian Louboutin. The style of her long, straight hair, along with numerous gold bracelets, perfectly evoked Cher’s unmistakable aesthetic.

This isn’t the first time Zendaya has paid tribute to Cher; she previously did so at the 2021 Oscars. However, this occasion exceeded expectations, honoring a design that Cher wore in 1975 on ‘The Cher Show.’ This dress, auctioned for $5,100, beautifully concluded New York Fashion Week in 2001.
