Zoe Saldaña becomes a Cartier ambassador, celebrating a creative partnership defined by iconic jewellery and timeless elegance.
Cartier has announced Zoe Saldaña as its new global ambassador, solidifying a relationship that has been years in the making on some of the world’s most prestigious red carpets. The actress, who captivated audiences in 2023 wearing a custom-made golden mesh cape adorned with diamonds by the maison, has since embodied the bold and refined spirit of the French house.
“I’m honoured to become a Cartier ambassador, a maison that has always taken creativity to the next level,” said Saldaña.
Over the past year, Zoe has worn some of Cartier’s most iconic high jewellery pieces: from the Melis necklace, inspired by honeycombs and set with yellow diamonds at the Golden Globes, to the Panthères Versatiles — a transformable piece featuring a 10-carat emerald — which she wore at the 2024 Oscars. The latter is part of the Nature Sauvage collection, a creation that required over 4,800 hours of craftsmanship.
With this appointment, the Avatar and Star Trek actress joins a roster of Cartier ambassadors including Timothée Chalamet, Jisoo, Gemma Chan, and Rami Malek. As she continues her work as producer and lead in Special Ops: Lioness, Saldaña is also preparing for the highly anticipated release of Avatar 3 in December, along with potential returns to other iconic franchises.
