Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars triumphed at the 2025 Grammys with Die With a Smile, taking home the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The 2025 Grammy night had a standout moment when Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars claimed the award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Die With a Smile. The song, part of the album Mayhem, triumphed over high-profile collaborations, including Ariana Grande, Brandy & Monica (The Boy Is Mine – Remix), Beyoncé & Post Malone (Levii’s Jeans), Charli XCX & Billie Eilish (Guess), and Gracie Abrams & Taylor Swift (Us).

Upon receiving the award, Bruno Mars expressed his admiration for Gaga: “It’s an honour to be part of this song with you. Your musical legacy is immense, and I truly believe that God gave us this song to sing together.”

Lady Gaga, in turn, shared some heartfelt words: “Bruno, you are a musician for the ages. I cannot imagine music without you. Michael [Polansky], I love you, thank you for your unconditional support. Being a songwriter, producer, and singer is a privilege. And tonight, I want to say this: trans people are not invisible. The queer community deserves to be uplifted. Music is love. Thank you.”

Earlier in the evening, Gaga and Bruno Mars performed a rendition of California Dreamin’, and the singer surprised the audience by releasing her new song, Abracadabra.
