Karl Lagerfeld lands in Seoul with an immersive pop-up celebrating his legacy, iconic style, and creative vision.
The fashion house Karl Lagerfeld has opened an immersive pop-up in Seoul, running until 26 May, inviting visitors to explore the creative universe of the iconic German designer. Located in the dynamic Seongdong-gu district — known for its blend of art, design, and fashion — the 230-square-metre space combines heritage, innovation, and local culture.

One of the main attractions is a replica of Lagerfeld’s personal desk in Paris, alongside sketches, memorable quotes, and a special installation using hanji, traditional Korean paper, folded into the shape of shirts. Hidden among them is a genuine piece from the brand, challenging attendees to find it.
The event also showcases Karl Lagerfeld’s Spring 2025 collection, as well as perfumes and recent campaigns. Visitors can participate in interactive activities, including prizes for those who attend dressed in the designer’s signature monochromatic style.

Hun Kim, the Seoul-born creative director, expressed the personal significance of the event: “It’s a way to bring Karl’s world to my hometown and share it with new generations.”
This pop-up marks the beginning of the brand’s broader strategy to expand in the South Korean market.
