Sarah Jessica Parker has shared her true feelings about the shocking death of Mr Big (Chris Noth) in the first episode of And Just Like That…. Speaking candidly on The E! News Sitdown With Bruce Bozzi, the 60-year-old star opened up about the moment her character’s beloved dies of a heart attack while riding a Peloton bike.
“The death of Big was really, really hard, both professionally and personally,” Parker admitted. “It wasn’t just a storyline. It was one of the main arteries of the story.” She added that saying goodbye to this chapter of Sex and the City was incredibly emotional: “I didn’t need it for my health or well-being, but it was a wonderful story for many years,” she explained.
She also responded to critics of Carrie and Big’s relationship, describing their romance as “romantic and disastrous.” “Everything was a mess and wonderful at the same time. It was destructive and healthy,” she reflected.
