Nicole Kidman leads Balenciaga’s new Winter 2025 campaign, a contemporary ode to luxury and editorial photography.
Balenciaga once again pushes the boundaries of fashion and photography with its Winter 2025 campaign, a reinterpretation of Juergen Teller’s iconic 1999 series ‘The Clients’. This time, the setting is a hotel in Biarritz, where the German photographer, alongside his creative partner Dovile Drizyte, captures a select group of global faces with rawness and sophistication, each embodying the maison’s avant-garde spirit.
Among the stars of this luxurious cast are Nicole Kidman, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Arthur Chen, Isabelle Huppert, Claudia Schiffer, Liu Wen, Adut Akech and Roxanne. Each appears in intimate, direct portraits, dressed in key pieces from the collection, and posed in carefully chosen corners of the hotel—from Kidman reclining on a bed in a shimmering black dress to Schwarzenegger holding a Balenciaga helmet as a style statement.

The campaign also nods to recent collaborations, such as the Balenciaga x Alpinestars motorcycle gloves worn by Adut, or the sportswear looks from the Balenciaga x PUMA line modelled by Chen. The result is an homage to unvarnished glamour, where luxury meets calculated rawness—a hallmark of both Teller’s work and Demna’s artistic vision.
At a time when authenticity is centre stage, Balenciaga chooses familiar faces in real-world settings—without sacrificing its experimental edge. ‘The Clients’ returns as a bold statement of intent.
