Jannik Sinner, the world’s number one tennis player, has been announced as the new global ambassador for Explora Journeys, MSC’s luxury cruise brand.

Sport and luxury converge with the news that Jannik Sinner, currently at the top of the ATP rankings, will represent Explora Journeys, the lifestyle ocean travel brand of MSC Group. The announcement was made at The Core: Club in New York, just days ahead of the US Open.

The multi-year agreement will see Sinner front global campaigns, while the Explora Journeys logo will feature on the player’s apparel and that of his training team during upcoming tournaments.

“For me, wellness is not just about training, it’s also about recovery and balance. I believe in the power of nature and mindful routines, and I see those values reflected in every experience with Explora Journeys,” Sinner shared at the presentation.

The partnership is rooted in shared values: excellence, passion, and precision. It is no coincidence that both Sinner and MSC Group share Italian heritage, a detail that strengthens the alliance. The tennis star will also work with the cruise line on developing an exclusive wellness programme, complete with onboard activations and rituals for guests.

Explora Journeys had already cemented its links with sport by transforming Explora II into a floating hotel during the Monaco Grand Prix in 2025, a concept it intends to repeat. For Sinner, the agreement adds to an impressive list of collaborations with major international brands including Nike, Gucci, Rolex, La Roche-Posay and Lavazza.

In a year in which he has triumphed at both the Australian Open and Wimbledon – and with another anticipated showdown with Carlos Alcaraz in the US Open final – Sinner continues to establish himself not only as a sporting leader but also as a global style and sophistication icon.
