Brooklyn Beckham has once again made it clear that he has no intention of remaining silent when comments on social media target his wife, Nicola Peltz. The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham responded directly to a user after they made remarks about the actress’s physical appearance, turning an apparently ordinary post into a forceful defence of his wife.
It all began on Tuesday, 25 August, when Brooklyn, 27, shared an Instagram video showing himself preparing a cottage pie. Cooking has become one of the young Briton’s regular areas of content in recent years as he continues to publicly explore his interest in food.
However, the conversation soon moved completely away from the recipe. Among the comments was a message aimed at Nicola Peltz, 31, in which a user questioned her appearance and suggested that Brooklyn should feed her because, in their opinion, she looked unwell.
The Briton’s reaction was immediate. Rather than ignoring the remark, he decided to publicly draw a clear line.
“Don’t ever talk about my wife. She’s absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman’s body,” Brooklyn wrote.
He then added an even more direct assessment: “It’s disgraceful.”
His response has once again highlighted the unwavering position he maintains when it comes to Nicola Peltz Beckham, particularly at a time when almost every post featuring the couple generates comments about their marriage, their appearance or Brooklyn’s complicated current relationship with members of his family.
The defence was not entirely unexpected either. Long before the reported tensions within the Beckham family became a public issue, Brooklyn had already stated that he would always choose Nicola over anyone else. His comments were interpreted at the time as a clear indication of the priority he places on his marriage.
