Vacheron Constantin Launches Two New Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin Timepieces in Pink and White Gold

The Swiss maison unveils ultra-slim models in 18k gold, with lacquered dials and exceptional Haute Horlogerie automatic movements inside.

Vacheron Constantin enriches its iconic Overseas collection with two refined new interpretations of the Overseas Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin, marrying precision engineering with elevated aesthetics. Offered in pink gold and white gold, both models are housed in sleek 41.5 mm cases, measuring just 8.1 mm in thickness — a statement in understated luxury and horological prowess.

The pink gold edition showcases a tonal sunburst dial with a recessed moonphase aperture and delicate blue minute track. Meanwhile, the white gold version boasts a bold burgundy lacquer dial punctuated with crisp white numerals, delivering a vivid contrast. Each timepiece comes with a matching 18k gold bracelet and two interchangeable rubber straps: blue or white for the pink gold, burgundy or white for the white gold.

Inspired by the brand’s Maltese cross emblem, the design balances sporty sophistication with graceful proportion. The alternating polished and satin-brushed finishes across the bezel and caseband enhance the watch’s slim profile, while the sapphire crystal caseback offers a view of the engraved 22k gold rotor bearing a compass rose — a poetic nod to exploration.

At the core of both watches is the ultra-thin Manufacture Calibre 1120 QP/1, beating at 19,800 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement powers a complete perpetual calendar — day, date, month, and leap-year cycle on a 48-month counter — as well as an elegant moonphase display. With no adjustment required until the year 2100, the movement offers a 40-hour power reserve and water resistance of up to 50 metres.

Finishing details include traditional Haute Horlogerie techniques such as Côtes de Genève, hand-bevelling, and perlage, all visible through the transparent caseback. The result is a technically complex and visually poetic expression of contemporary watchmaking.
