David Beckham unveils his autumn collection with Boss, inspired by British heritage, winter comfort and his own personal maturity.

At 50, David Beckham proves that style evolves gracefully with age. The former footballer returns with the second instalment of his collaboration with BOSS, available from Monday, this time offering a more serene, refined and timeless vision. “I love this time of year, with its warm colours, layering and that sense of comfort without sacrificing style,” he confessed during a private event held in May.

For this collection, Beckham worked closely with Marco Falcioni, Senior Vice President and Creative Director at Hugo Boss, with whom he shares a passion for enduring pieces designed beyond fleeting trends. “We always look for interesting concepts and garments that last,” said the former Manchester United player.

The line blends structured tailoring — with defined shoulders, slim cuts and mid-rise trousers — with more relaxed essentials such as knitted T-shirts, cashmere jumpers, cargo trousers and suede jackets. Among Beckham’s personal favourites are a double-breasted cashmere camel coat, a corduroy suit, boots, trainers and “a good cashmere jumper.” He also admitted his dislike for brands discontinuing popular items: “There’s nothing worse than finding the perfect pair of trousers only for them to disappear the following season. That’s why we’re working to keep certain iconic pieces,” he explained.

The collection also features accessories and footwear, including workwear-inspired boots, cold-weather trainers and leather goods that nod to the countryside. While the campaign was originally set to be shot in the Scottish Highlands, it was ultimately captured in an 18th-century London mansion, art directed by Trey Laird and photographed by duo Mert & Marcus, bringing a noble and sophisticated air to the project.

Beckham admits that his style has evolved towards the classic, though he still enjoys taking risks from time to time, often inspired by his children: “Cruz loves oversized trousers with double-breasted blazers, and that has influenced me. Even though I’m older, I’ve got four kids who keep me young.”

More than just a capsule, Beckham x Boss has become a true statement of masculine style that embraces maturity without losing freshness. As David himself puts it, “If you find something you love, you should be able to wear it forever.”
