The latest collaboration between Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance once again takes centre stage in global streetwear with an exclusive reinterpretation of the Made in UK 991, a proposal that blends heritage, technical precision and clear references to 1990s marine culture. Far from limiting itself to footwear, the capsule introduces a line of functional garments that reinforce the project’s narrative of navigation, performance and style.

At the heart of the collection are the new New Balance 991, presented in two versions named Celery and Chocolate. The former balances layered construction through a grey mesh base with red leather overlays and olive- and brown-toned suede panels, creating a clean, controlled contrast that honours the model’s classic architecture. The latter embraces a more graphic reading: starting from a white leather base, it adds red leather details, dark-brown suede overlays and black accents that provide a stronger visual anchor, consolidating a powerful silhouette aligned with the collaboration’s creative direction.

The drop expands with a selection of garments that follow the same aesthetic language. The Nylon Sailing Jackets and matching Pants embody the essence of open-sea performance thanks to their technical construction and high-contrast colours, Aura Orange and Jet Black. The line also includes Fleece Half Zip Pullovers in the same chromatic palette, offering warmth without disrupting the collection’s visual identity. The proposal is rounded off with Rugby Knit Shirts and Signal Crewneck Sweaters, crafted with more artisanal knit processes that add texture and stylistic solidity.

The campaign unfolds through a film shot in the Oslo fjord, a natural passage between Norway and Sweden that places the collection in a real setting of cold, open water and Atlantic atmosphere, reinforcing the functional approach behind each piece.
