Zendaya has sparked fresh speculation about a possible secret wedding with Tom Holland after appearing to reveal what looked like a wedding ring during a major Hollywood event.

Rumours surrounding a potential secret marriage between Zendaya and Tom Holland intensified after a moment that did not go unnoticed during one of Hollywood’s most prominent gatherings. The actress, known for carefully protecting her private life, appeared to show what looked like a wedding band during the Black Women in Hollywood Awards hosted by Essence in Los Angeles.

The moment took place on 12 March, when the actress was invited onto the stage by Marsai Martin, star of ‘Black-ish’ and host of the ceremony. In a playful tone, Martin remarked that Zendaya usually keeps her personal life away from the spotlight, but still asked her to give “a sign” about the rumours circulating in recent weeks. Zendaya’s reaction was brief but meaningful: laughing shyly, she lifted her hand and showed what appeared to be her wedding band, prompting immediate applause from the audience.

The appearance of the ring came just days after Zendaya was photographed at the Louis Vuitton fashion show wearing a thin gold band on her left hand. In those images, her engagement ring was notably absent, while the silver rings she often wears remained part of her look. Many fans interpreted the detail as a possible sign that the actress and Tom Holland may have recently married in a private ceremony.

Speculation grew even further when Law Roach, Zendaya’s long-time stylist, suggested that the wedding had already taken place. During an interview on the red carpet at the Actor Awards 2026, Roach joked: “The wedding already happened. You missed it.” When the journalist interviewing him reacted with surprise, the stylist doubled down, adding: “It’s absolutely true,” fuelling fan theories even more.

For the Essence gala, Zendaya wore a white floral gown designed by Eugene Alexander, a piece with an interesting history in pop culture. The design was previously worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in the 2008 film ‘Sex and the City’, although its origins date back to the late 1980s when Whitney Houston wore a longer version of the same dress.

Since confirming their relationship, Zendaya and Tom Holland have remained notably private about their personal lives. The actors, who met during the filming of ‘Spider-Man’, have consistently chosen to keep the details of their relationship away from intense public scrutiny. For now, neither has officially confirmed a wedding, but between the stylist’s comments, the mysterious ring and Zendaya’s gesture during the event, many fans are convinced the couple may already have taken the step in an intimate ceremony away from the spotlight.
