Actress Natalie Portman begins a new chapter with Tiffany & Co. as global ambassador, fronting a campaign filmed inside the iconic The Landmark boutique in New York.

The high jewellery house Tiffany & Co. has officially announced Natalie Portman as its new global ambassador, adding the Academy Award-winning actress to a select group of figures representing the contemporary identity of the brand. With this appointment, Portman joins a roster of ambassadors that includes Anya Taylor-Joy, Greta Lee, Mikey Madison, Chase Sui Wonders and Rosé, reinforcing the brand’s global strategy centred on cultural storytelling and international campaigns.

The president and chief executive officer of Tiffany & Co., Anthony Ledru, explained that the actress perfectly reflects the values of the maison. According to Ledru, Natalie Portman embodies qualities such as sophistication, authenticity and intelligence, characteristics that resonate with the vision of the modern Tiffany woman. He also highlighted that her presence brings elegance and courage to the brand’s new creative direction.

The announcement coincides with the launch of a new Tiffany & Co. global campaign, starring the actress and photographed by Gordon von Steiner inside the emblematic The Landmark boutique on Fifth Avenue in New York. In the images, Portman wears pieces from some of the house’s most recognisable collections, including HardWear by Tiffany, Sixteen Stone by Tiffany and Knot by Tiffany.

The relationship between Natalie Portman and the historic American jeweller is not new. In 2011, when she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in ‘Black Swan’, the actress wore Paloma Picasso rubellite tassel earrings along with a Jean Schlumberger design styled in her hair. More recently, she appeared wearing Tiffany & Co. jewellery at the Cannes Film Festival, choosing a Wave diamond necklace, platinum diamond earrings and an 18-carat white gold diamond ring.

The HardWear collection takes a central role within the new campaign imagery. In recent comments, Portman explained that the line is inspired by the architecture of Manhattan, particularly the shapes of its skyline, creating jewellery that can transition naturally between everyday settings and formal events.

The campaign will also expand into film. Directors Mona Fastvold and Brady Corbet have created a short film produced by Magna Studios, with cinematography by Hoyte van Hoytema, which will premiere during the upcoming Academy Awards broadcast.

In the cinematic project, Natalie Portman portrays different stages in a woman’s life, exploring multiple forms of love connected to work, family and personal identity. Through this collaboration, the actress becomes one of the central figures in the evolving global narrative of Tiffany & Co..
