The German brand introduces new tones across its Essential and Groove collections, positioning colour as a key element in contemporary travel design.
The luxury industry is once again turning to colour as a narrative and emotional tool, and this time it is RIMOWA setting the tone with a proposal that blends design, functionality and aesthetic expression. The brand expands its Essential and Groove collections with two new seasonal shades —Orange and Magenta— unveiled through a campaign starring iconic Spanish actress Rossy de Palma.

Far from being a simple chromatic update, this launch reinforces a creative direction in which colour becomes a distinct language within the world of travel. Both tones are rooted in a clear inspiration: an era defined by experimentation, self-expression and aesthetic freedom. Orange introduces a vibrant energy that evokes the excitement of discovering new destinations, while Magenta, with its near-fuchsia intensity, brings a more refined and curious dimension, almost playful in nature.
The campaign builds this narrative through a carefully crafted visual setting. Rossy de Palma appears within a highly curated interior filled with selected objects, where suitcases and accessories integrate seamlessly into the space, reinforcing the idea that travel does not begin at the destination, but with the aesthetic experience that surrounds it.

From a technical perspective, the Essential collection remains grounded in its polycarbonate construction, a material that ensures both lightness and durability. Each piece has been developed through precise colour work, creating a uniform and cohesive exterior. Functional details remain central to the design: the telescopic handle, Multiwheel system, TSA-approved locks and leather address tag all contribute to a proposal where design and utility coexist effortlessly.

Inside, the organisation follows a structured approach. The suitcase features a dual system, combining a zipped compartment on one side with the Flex Divider on the other, allowing for organised and adaptable packing suited to different types of travel.
Meanwhile, the Groove line extends this colour-driven vision into accessories. The Cross-Body Bag Small in Orange expands the collection with a piece that balances aesthetics and practicality. Made in Italy from smooth calf leather, the bag includes an adjustable strap and a handle inspired by classic suitcase design, reinforcing the visual coherence of the range.

The Groove collection also introduces new colour variations. The Cross-Body Bag now appears in tones such as Chalk and Cognac, while the Shopping Bag is presented in a deep Burgundy shade. This expansion confirms a clear strategy: building an ecosystem where each piece interacts through colour and materiality.
The Trifold Toiletry Pouch and Packing Cubes are also introduced in Orange, bringing consistency across the entire luggage offering and reinforcing the idea of travel conceived down to the smallest detail.
