The Stray Kids member unveils a song shaped by resilience and officially launches the group’s new wave of individual releases.

Han is once again exploring his solo side with the release of ‘Back to Life’, a track that is already making an impact among fans of Stray Kids and climbing YouTube’s music trending charts.

Released on 8 May, the song marks the beginning of a new era for the South Korean group. As confirmed by JYP Entertainment, every member of Stray Kids will release individual projects throughout 2026 as part of the collective’s ongoing artistic evolution.

Although solo releases are not entirely new within the group’s universe, this latest phase represents a much more defined focus on the personal musical identities of each member. The SKZ-PLAYER project, originally launched in 2018, had already served as a platform for special songs, videos and experimental releases connected to sub-units such as DANCERACHA, VOCALRACHA and 3RACHA.

With ‘Back to Life’, Han embraces an emotional narrative centred on resilience, perseverance and the ability to rise again after setbacks. The track blends melodic intensity with motivational energy, highlighting a more introspective side of the artist without losing the powerful sound that defines Stray Kids.

Part of the release’s impact also comes from its lyrics, where the singer reflects on scars, defeat and determination in a direct and deeply personal tone. That combination of vulnerability and strength has quickly resonated with listeners, helping push the song into international music trends.

The release arrives only months after Hyunjin unveiled ‘LOVER’, another of the group’s most talked-about solo projects this year, further reinforcing a strategy that continues to expand the creative universe of Stray Kids beyond their collective work.

With ‘Back to Life’, Han not only reaffirms his abilities as both a performer and songwriter, but also makes it clear that the members’ new solo era is set to become one of the defining movements within K-pop throughout 2026.
