The Jonas Brothers star releases his second solo single and describes the track as a deeper reflection of his identity, marriage and emotional evolution.
Kevin Jonas is continuing to explore his solo career with the release of ‘Little Things’, a new single that marks a much more personal and emotionally detailed stage in his musical journey. Nearly six months after debuting as a solo artist with ‘Changing’, the musician now returns with a song centred on intimacy, long-term love and the quiet moments that shape relationships over time.
For Kevin Jonas, the release represents far more than simply another track outside the Jonas Brothers universe. The artist admitted that it took him years to feel ready to create music independently.
“It took me 15 years to feel confident in making music on my own,” he explained. “I finally find one song, and it was everything I’d been searching for. It unlocked the sound. The search was over, and I could build on it.”
While ‘Changing’ introduced audiences to this new phase, ‘Little Things’ moves into a more introspective territory. According to the singer, the song acts as a continuation of his personality rather than a reinvention.
“Whereas ‘Changing’ felt like a new beginning, ‘Little Things’ is less of an introduction to me and more a continuation of who I am,” Kevin shared.
The track is heavily inspired by his relationship with wife Danielle Jonas, with whom he has shared 17 years of marriage. Throughout the lyrics, the musician reflects on the small habits, memories and gestures that continue to define their connection after nearly two decades together.
“There are little moments during our time together that trigger my joy and happiness and remind me exactly why I’m still with her,” he revealed.
Kevin also described the song as one of his most lyrically detailed projects to date, blending romance with playful sensuality.
“Lyrically, it’s very detailed. It’s a little sexy and fun with the ‘steaming up the shower’ line. You’ve got to keep it spicy, I guess,” he added with a laugh. “The song discusses all of her favourite things. When you think about it, those little things make us who we are. She isn’t an over-the-top person; she’s just the perfect person!”
Much like his previous release, the single was produced by Jason Evigan, reinforcing the sonic identity Kevin Jonas appears to be building for this new chapter. The singer also confirmed that more solo music is already on the way.
“I’m ready for people to hear more of who I am,” he said. “I’m just a guy who’s lucky enough to make music. I’m proud of it, and I can’t wait to keep writing more songs.”
