The BLACKPINKstar becomes the face of the new PUMA Speedcat Mule, a contemporary reinterpretation of one of the sportswear brand’s most iconic designs.

Rosé’s influence within the fashion industry continues to grow on a global scale. The BLACKPINK member leads the new campaign for the PUMA Speedcat Mule, the German brand’s latest release, reimagining one of its most recognisable silhouettes with a design tailored for summer and modern everyday living.

Following the successful revival of the Speedcat line, originally inspired by the world of motorsport, PUMA now introduces a completely refreshed version that preserves the essence of the original model while embracing a far more relaxed approach. The new Speedcat Mule retains the sleek profile that made the classic design an icon but replaces the closed heel with an open-back construction, creating a more versatile and comfortable silhouette.

Fronted by Rosé, the campaign embraces a nostalgic yet sophisticated aesthetic. Set within a vintage-inspired interior, the imagery captures the artist in effortless styling that connects the footwear to everyday dressing without compromising the collection’s premium appeal. Her signature elegance brings authenticity to a campaign centred on simplicity, functionality and timeless design.

For this updated model, PUMA has modernised the silhouette with a smooth leather upper enhanced by subtle ruched detailing that adds texture and visual depth. Traditional laces have been removed in favour of discreet elastic forefoot straps, creating a cleaner profile while allowing the shoe to slip on with ease.

The open-heel construction makes the Speedcat Mule an ideal choice for warmer months, maintaining the collection’s sporting DNA while introducing the effortless appeal of a contemporary mule.
