McQueen unveils its Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign with a striking noir aesthetic that blends haute couture, mystery, elegance and cinematic emotion.
McQueen once again showcases the power of visual storytelling with the launch of its new Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign, a creative project that combines fashion, cinema and art to explore the relationship between identity, appearance and emotion. Under the creative direction of Seán McGirr and led by renowned photographer and filmmaker Glen Luchford, the British fashion house creates a noir-inspired universe in which every image conveys mystery, sophistication and character.
The campaign brings together some of the industry’s most influential models, including Karen Elson, Paloma Elsesser, Jacqui Hooper and Xiao Wen, each bringing a distinct personality to a production that explores the contrast between the image people present to the world and the emotions they truly experience.

Through carefully composed scenes, the models stare directly into the camera while dramatic lighting and cinematic compositions create an atmosphere charged with tension. The campaign continually blurs the line between performance and reality, revealing emotions that evolve from restraint to genuine expression.
The creative project also features art direction by SJ Todd, styling by Camille Bidault-Waddington, set design by Gideon Ponte, and casting direction by Julia Lange, while Farago Projects oversaw the production. The beauty team includes hair stylist Anthony Turner, make-up artist Daniel Sallstrom, and manicurist Ama Quashie, all contributing to the campaign’s distinctive visual identity.
The McQueen Autumn/Winter 2026 collection remains faithful to the house’s tailoring heritage while reinterpreting some of its most recognisable design codes. The influence of Savile Row is reflected in impeccably tailored jackets and sharply cut shirts, paired with elegant evening dresses crafted from delicate silk georgette, creating a compelling contrast between structure and fluidity.

Fabric plays a central role throughout the collection. Structured silk mikado adds volume and architectural definition to selected silhouettes, while floral prints inspired by vintage wallpaper and distressed floral jacquards enrich the garments with remarkable visual depth.
Embroidery is another defining feature of the collection. McQueen introduces delicate trompe-l’œil feather motifs alongside intricate ornamental lace, highlighting the exceptional craftsmanship behind every design. The house also layers floral lace between feather-light sheets of organza to create ethereal dresses with a three-dimensional effect that enhances movement.
Throughout the collection, McQueen explores the tension between opposites, combining sheer fabrics with structured tailoring, lightweight materials with heavier textures, and refined craftsmanship with dramatic visual impact to create garments rich in both texture and emotion.
