His girlfriend, tattoo artist Katelyn Larson, has decided to speak publicly after some fans reportedly visited her tattoo studio solely because of her personal connection to the actor.
Larson used the professional Instagram account dedicated to her work to explain the situation and ask for respect. She said she had never intended to address the matter publicly, but several recent incidents prompted her to make her boundaries clear.
The tattoo artist made a distinction between those who discovered her work through Heated Rivalry and those who use a professional tattoo appointment as a way of getting closer to Hudson Williams.
“Obviously, a lot of you have found the studio because of a certain show and that’s more than okay. If you’re following me or any of the other artists because you genuinely like their art and want to get some cool tattoos, please go right ahead. Don’t ever feel weird about that,” she explained.
However, Larson was firm when describing the behaviour she considers inappropriate. “This is where I draw a very hard line: booking an appointment with me or anyone else purely because of the connection to the show crosses a huge boundary,” she wrote.
She also asked fans to stop questioning her colleagues about her private life. “Showing up to your appointment and asking my co-workers any sort of questions about myself or about Hudson is hugely uncomfortable for everyone. With peace and love, please stop.”
Her message comes as public interest surrounding the couple has increased considerably. Although Hudson Williams and Katelyn Larson have appeared together at several major events and occasionally share photographs, they have chosen to keep much of their relationship away from the public eye.
Williams has previously explained that his girlfriend is not particularly comfortable with the attention that comes with his growing profile. “She’s not trying to be out there or be perceived,” the actor said in March while discussing the reaction to a Valentine’s Day post.
