Miley Cyrus has gone back to her 2011 look. The singer debuted her new hair transformation at The Daily Front Row’s Seventh Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday, April 23, returning to her roots (literally) with long, wavy brown locks.
However, the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer kept some blonde touches with thick, ’90s-inspired highlights (as seen in the picture). She paired her new hairstyle with an impressive Versace corset top with a plunging neckline, a sleek pencil skirt, and leather gloves. The artist rocked her look while presenting the Musical Stylist of the Year Award to Bradley Kenneth.
The last time the superstar had brown hair was before the release of her album Bangerz in 2013. In 2012, she surprised her fans by cutting her long locks into a stylish, platinum blonde pixie, ushering in a bolder and freer-spirited era for the singer.
It has been an incredible year for Cyrus, who released her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, on March 10. The project’s lead single, “Flowers,” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for eight weeks and also topped the Pop Airplay, Adult Pop Airplay, and Adult Contemporary charts as of April 15. Endless Summer Vacation is Cyrus’s 14th album to reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart, peaking at number 3 on the chart dated March 25, 2023.
