Authentic Brands Group continues to expand its portfolio with the acquisition of the British brand Hunter.
The US multinational Authentic Brands Group, a global platform for the development of commercial and personal brands, marketing strategies, and the organization and activation of events, which already includes brands such as Reebok, Quiksilver, Forever 21, Brooks Brothers, and Ted Baker.
And now, the century-old British footwear brand Hunter, which has even graced the feet of Princess Diana herself, is the latest addition to Authentic Brands Group’s ever-growing portfolio of commercial brands.

“We are excited to finalize the acquisition of Hunter, an authentic and original pioneer in footwear and outerwear,” explains Jamie Salter, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Authentic. “At the intersection of fashion and the outdoor sector, Hunter adds another globally recognized brand to Authentic’s diverse lifestyle portfolio,” Salter adds.
Furthermore, the US multinational has also confirmed agreements with Batra Group and Marc Fisher Footwear to establish both companies as licensing partners responsible for managing, on behalf of ABG, all the newly acquired rights of Hunter for the European and US markets, respectively.

“We are pleased to expand our relationships with two long-standing partners of Authentic, Batra Group, and Marc Fisher, each of whom has a proven track record of unparalleled expertise in product development across a wide range of categories and an established network of outstanding retail partners,” adds Salter. “We are eager to begin working with them and our broader network of partners to continue growing the Hunter brand,” he concludes.
