Supermodel and it girl, Kendall Jenner, is the new face of L’Oréal Paris.

Kendall Jenner can trace her earliest beauty memories back to when she was a child, rummaging through her mother’s makeup drawers and watching the Kardashian matriarch get ready to go out. Although Kendall’s personal journey towards self-acceptance has had its ups and downs, at 27 years old, she finally knows her own worth. That’s why it’s fitting for the model and fashion inspiration to be introduced as the new face of L’Oréal Paris.

“L’Oréal Paris is honored to announce our partnership with one of the most powerful women in the world,” says Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, Global President of L’Oréal Paris. “It’s a new achievement in our mission to empower all women, everywhere. At another time, Kendall Jenner might have been just as successful as she is now, but her value, her choices, and her image could have been defined or even controlled by others. But nobody defines Kendall Jenner except Kendall Jenner. She embodies everything that Generation Z represents.”

In addition to being a spokesperson for the powerful beauty brand and connecting with younger audiences, the model will lead campaigns for the brand’s upcoming launches, from the Infallible Matte Resistance lipstick to the Panorama mascara. “I feel honored to be part of a new sisterhood of strong and powerful women and to be able to say those iconic words, ‘Because I’m worth it!'” says Kendall.

Being a longtime fan of the brand, Jenner recalls using practically every version of L’Oréal shampoo when she was a child, but nowadays, her favorite product is their foundation, particularly the Infallible Freshwear. Years after her childhood bath rituals, she says, “Joining the L’Oréal Paris family and having the opportunity to embody everything the brand represents feels like a true moment of closure.”
