Amber Heard was seen using crutches while out and about in Madrid this week, and the reason behind her needing them has just been explained.
The 37-year-old actress was observed in the new city where she now resides with her sister, Whitney Henriquez, and her 2-year-old daughter, Oonagh. She was strolling alongside them with crutches on both of her arms, assisting her with her mobility.
So, what exactly happened? According to Amber Heard, she pushed herself a little too hard while training for an upcoming marathon.
She told Page Six that she had injured her hip during her preparation for the New York City Marathon.
While the injury has set her back a bit, it appears she still intends to participate in the annual event, scheduled for November.
