Coach has appointed Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum as its latest global ambassador. The NBA All-Star, also a brand ambassador for Jordan since 2019, stars in Coach’s “Courage to Be Real” series. The global campaign, launched on Wednesday, showcases Tatum wearing Coach’s Spring 2024 watch and sunglasses collections.

“This partnership is a full-circle moment for me,” Tatum said in a statement. “I’m always striving to push my boundaries, and I look forward to working with a brand like Coach that celebrates this.”

The campaign features Tatum sporting the brand’s “Jackson” watch model, a gold-tone chronograph with a green dial and date window, available in select stores. He also stands out in square sunglasses with keyhole bridge style, featuring Coach’s Signature C pattern in new blue-gray gradient acetates with transparent temples and solid blue-gray lenses.

“Jayson is an inspiring individual who captures the spirit of confidence and authentic personal expression at the heart of Coach,” said Stuart Vevers, Coach’s creative director.

Hailing from St. Louis, Tatum is having one of his best seasons, averaging around 27.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game in 66 games this season. He has also been selected for five All-Star games.

Furthermore, Tatum founded the Jayson Tatum Foundation, which provides education, sports, and mentoring programs for children and teenagers in St. Louis with the aim of empowering them. Recently, the foundation received a $1 million donation from financial services company SoFi to help low-income single-parent households afford housing.

Tatum joins Coach’s roster of global ambassadors alongside Lil Nas X, Jennifer Lopez, Youngji Lee, Koki, and Wu Jinyan.
