Megan Thee Stallion debuts on the Billboard 200 with MEGAN, the biggest female rap release of 2024, entering the top 3.
Megan Thee Stallion debuts at number 3 on this week’s Billboard 200 with her album MEGAN.The latest studio effort from the “Houston Hottie” marks her sixth top 10 entry and debuts with a total of 64,000 album equivalent units in its first week. These include 47,000 album equivalent units from streaming (62.67 million on-demand streams of songs), 16,000 in album sales, and 1,000 in track equivalent units.
MEGAN is officially the biggest debut of 2024 for a rap album by a woman in terms of units to date, and it’s also the first rap album by a woman to reach the top 10 this year.
In other chart positions, Taylor Swift logs her eleventh week at number 1, followed by Morgan Wallen at number 2, Billie Eilish at number 4, and Chappell Roan at number 5. This marks the first time The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess has entered the top 5. Rounding out the lower half of this week’s top 10 are Wallen again at number 6, followed by Peso Pluma, Shaboozey, Noah Kahan, and Beyoncé at numbers 7 through 10.
