Fred Paris has appointed Jin from BTS as its first global ambassador, marking his inaugural solo luxury agreement.
Renowned jewelry brand Fred Paris has named Kim Seok-jin, known as Jin from BTS, as its first global ambassador. This marks the South Korean artist’s first solo luxury agreement, amidst expectations that he will also carry the Olympic torch for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Valérie Samuel, Vice President and Artistic Director of Fred Paris, emphasized that Jin’s radiant energy, artistic qualities, and values strongly resonate with those of the maison and its founder, Fred Samuel. “He shares an unwavering optimism and joie de vivre,” stated Samuel.
Jin expressed his excitement and gratitude at joining the Fred Paris family. “I look forward to the future projects we will bring through this partnership,” added the singer.

This milestone is significant for Jin, who previously collaborated with Ottogi’s Jin Ramen franchise before his mandatory military service. Additionally, BTS served as ambassadors for Louis Vuitton in 2021 under the artistic direction of Virgil Abloh.
Following completion of his military service, Jin reunited with his fans at an emotional event and launched a limited collaboration with Kolon, featuring the cartoon character Wootteo. During a Q&A session, Jin mentioned he is working on new projects, including an album expected in the latter half of the year.
Fred Paris, a brand under the LVMH group, continues to expand its presence in South Korea with various collaborations and exclusive retail outlets, solidifying its position in the luxury market.
