Taemin, a member of the group SHINee, has reached an important milestone by surpassing 3 million followers on Spotify, establishing himself as a significant figure in the K-pop industry. As the most followed artist from the BPM label on the platform, Taemin continues to captivate audiences with his music and mesmerizing performances. Among his contemporaries, he ranks as the third most followed act of the second generation and the fifteenth most followed K-pop idol overall.

Taemin’s journey as a solo artist began in 2014 with the release of his first EP, Ace, which reached the top position on South Korea’s Gaon Album Chart. The EP’s lead single, ‘Danger,’ achieved considerable success, reaching fifth place on the Gaon Digital Chart. Taemin continued his streak of success with his first studio album, Press It (2016), which also secured the top spot on the Gaon Album Chart.

Expanding his international reach, Taemin made his solo debut in Japan in July 2016 with the release of his second EP, Sayonara Hitori. This was followed by his third EP, Flame of Love, in 2017, showcasing his versatility and artistic growth. Taemin’s continued success on platforms like Spotify underscores his global appeal and the enduring impact of his music.
