Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky announce their engagement, marking a new chapter in the life of the iconic pop star.
Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky, her boyfriend of four years, are making it official. At the Sunday ‘Olympics,’ Gaga nearly confirmed that she and Polansky are ready to take the next step in their relationship.
Both attended the swimming competition, where they were welcomed by French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. In a video on the social network TikTok, shared by Attal, Gaga is heard referring to Polansky as “her fiancé.” Later, Polansky, a businessman and technology investor, is seen shaking hands with the French diplomat.

These engagement rumors started in April. The singer and actress was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand while visiting a friend’s house in Los Angeles. The couple first romantically connected in 2020, when they were seen kissing on New Year’s Eve. Later reports showed that they isolated together during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since then, Polansky has been discreetly present with Gaga at her performances. He supported the star during Joe Biden‘s inauguration, for which Gaga expressed her gratitude.

Gaga and Polansky were recently photographed together at the star’s 38th birthday in March. The couple was joined by “a small group of friends” at the celebrity hotspot ‘Giorgio Baldi’ in Los Angeles. “[Polansky] let [Gaga] shine and made sure she had everything she needed,” a source told People in March, adding, “He was smiling and laughing all night.” It was a fun celebration.
Polansky, 46, is the co-founder and CEO of the ‘Parker Foundation,’ which supports “life sciences, global public health, civic engagement, and the arts,” according to its official website. Polansky also serves on the board of the ‘Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy.’

Gaga has been engaged twice before. She separated from her fiancé of two years, Christian Carino, in 2019 and canceled her engagement to actor Taylor Kinney in 2015. The couple has yet to publicly confirm when they plan to officially marry.
