Kaia Gerber leads DKNY’s Fall 2024 campaign, capturing the vibrant and timeless essence of New York.
DKNY is experiencing a vibrant revival, and the Fall 2024 campaign with Kaia Gerber at the forefront confirms it. After their successful collaboration in the spring, the New York brand is once again betting on Gerber, who embodies the city’s relentless energy. Under the lens of Mikael Jansson, Kaia is captured in iconic New York settings, from the back of a yellow taxi to a rooftop and the public library.
This campaign, titled DKNY est. 1989, celebrates the brand’s 35th anniversary with a selection of reimagined classics. The looks, including imposing coats and puffer jackets paired with pleated skirts, are a contemporary homage to DKNY’s archive.
Additionally, the campaign is enriched with passages from classic literature set in New York, such as Just Kids by Patti Smith and The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. This fusion of fashion and literature reflects Kaia’s passion for books and her authentic connection with the brand.
Jacki Bouza, SVP of Global Marketing at G-III Apparel Group, highlights that this campaign is a decisive moment for DKNY, reaffirming its commitment to creativity, authenticity, and accessibility. Without a doubt, it is an invitation to rediscover the vibrant essence of the Big Apple.
