La Maison Karl Lagerfeld has reopened its renovated Regent Street store in London, featuring an innovative concept called ‘Future Legacy’

On September 5, 2024, Karl Lagerfeld presented the new ‘Future Legacy’ store concept at its Regent Street location, following months of renovations. Inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s passion for architecture, the space is a fusion of fashion, art, and innovation, establishing a new vision for modern retail. According to Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of the brand, this store marks a milestone in the company’s global growth strategy, showcasing its evolution.

The bright and minimalist store spans 300 square metres over two floors. The design blends natural materials like stone and plaster with polished steel and mirror finishes. At the centre, a rotating installation displays products in an innovative way, while digital screens and iconic quotes from Karl Lagerfeld add an interactive touch.

The space also reflects the brand’s commitment to sustainability, using 3D-printed mannequins made from recycled materials. Regent Street hosts the largest variety of collections from the Maison, including prêt-à-porter, accessories, and fragrances. The Autumn-Winter 2024 collection celebrates Karl Lagerfeld’s visionary essence, his chameleon-like genius, and his ever-present innovation.
