Synopsis

‘Cut in Time’ is more than a time-travel movie; it’s a portrait of a fractured family, loss, and the weight of sacrifice. The protagonist is not only trying to save her sister but also aiming to change her family’s tragic fate, raising ethical questions about how our actions can impact the future. The 2003 setting also adds a nostalgic touch and creates a cultural and technological barrier that the protagonist must overcome to adapt and survive.

In ‘Cut in Time’, a teenager from 2024, played by Madison Bailey, accidentally travels back to 2003—just days before a masked killer takes the life of her older sister, played by Antonia Gentry, whom she never met. This event shattered her family and hometown, changing her life forever. Now, she faces a dilemma: should she attempt to save her sister and alter her own future, or accept the fate she knows to avoid unforeseen changes to her existence? The protagonist must take on the difficult task of stopping the killer, saving her family, and adjusting to life in 2003, all while weighing the consequences of her choices.
