Gucci is embarking on a major restructuring under Stefano Cantino, bringing new additions to its leadership team to revitalize the brand.

Gucci is undergoing a period of significant transformation under the leadership of Stefano Cantino, who will assume the role of CEO on January 1. Since his appointment as deputy CEO in May, Cantino has made strategic decisions to modernize the Italian luxury brand. Among the new additions, Valérie Leberichel stands out as Senior Vice President of Global Communications, bringing her 27 years of experience in marketing and communication. Leberichel, who will join Gucci at the end of December, has previously worked with renowned brands such as Givenchy and Prada.

Additionally, Marcello Mastrogiacomo will join as Vice President of Digital Marketing and Media, bringing 17 years of global marketing experience. Daniela Raganato will also join as Director of Global Media, contributing her expertise in integrated marketing.

This restructuring comes at a crucial moment for Gucci, which has faced challenges in the market, including a 25% drop in organic sales in the third quarter. Cantino’s new leadership, along with these strategic appointments, aims to revitalize the brand and establish a clear vision for its future, focusing on market relevance and emotional connection with consumers.
