The unexpected passing of actor Song Jae Rim at the age of 39 has shocked his fans and the entertainment industry.
South Korean actor Song Jae Rim passed away unexpectedly at 39 years old. According to reports, he was found deceased on November 12 in his apartment in Seongdong District, Seoul, alongside a two-page letter. Although the cause of death has not yet been confirmed, police stated that “there are no indications of foul play at this stage of the investigation.”
Song Jae Rim’s family has taken charge of his funeral arrangements, which are being held at the funeral hall of St. Mary’s Hospital in Yeouido, Seoul. The procession is scheduled for November 14 at noon, with his final resting place to be at the Seoul City Crematorium.
Born in 1985, Song Jae Rim gained recognition for his performance in the drama The Moon Embracing the Sun. He went on to appear in dramas such as Inspiring Generation, Goodbye Mr. Black, and the variety show We Got Married. His most recent work was the drama My Military Valentine, released in June of this year.
News of his passing has stunned his fans, who recently noticed that his social media profile changed to read “A Long Journey Begins.”
