Cameron Diaz is back on the big screen after 11 years with Back in Action, a spy comedy co-starring Jamie Foxx.
After more than a decade away from the spotlight, Cameron Diaz returns to acting with Back in Action, a spy film produced by Netflix and co-starring Jamie Foxx. This much-anticipated comeback marks her first project since retiring in 2014, with a release date set for January 17, 2025.
The film follows Emily and Matt, a pair of former CIA agents who, after settling into a quiet suburban life, are forced back into action-packed missions. In the official trailer, Foxx is seen battling enemies with a flamethrower, while Diaz proves she remains a force to be reckoned with in action and comedy films.
Directed by Seth Gordon and co-written with Brendan O’Brien, ‘Back in Action‘ promises a blend of adrenaline, humor, and a stellar cast that includes Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, and McKenna Roberts.
