Willy Chavarria’s new campaign, starring J Balvin and Valentina Ferrer, combines signature design with a narrative that celebrates Latin roots and a commitment to diversity in fashion.
Renowned designer Willy Chavarria, known for his minimalist designs and message of cultural inclusion, has unveiled his latest advertising campaign. The campaign stars Colombian artist J Balvin and Argentinean model Valentina Ferrer, who are also a couple in real life. This project explores the connection between fashion, identity and Latin roots, highlighting the social approach that characterizes Chavarria’s work.

The campaign aesthetic combines minimalist elegance with nods to urban culture, highlighting pieces that transcend gender and traditional fashion conventions. The photographic direction was in charge of Diego Bendezu, and the images highlight the chemistry between Balvin and Ferrer, as well as the narrative strength of the designs of the award-winning designer, recently recognized as Designer of the Year at the CFDA Fashion Awards 2023.
On the red carpet at the CFDA Awards, Balvin and Ferrer wore Chavarria creations: he in a midnight blue tuxedo and she in a light blue dress with a draped neckline, reaffirming their place as brand ambassadors. The campaign reaffirms Chavarria’s commitment to inclusive design and cultural representation, cementing him as one of the most influential voices in contemporary fashion.
