Sean McGirr made an impact in Paris with his collection for McQueen, blending drama and Irish folklore, and surprising guests like Salma Hayek and Cardi B.

Creative director Sean McGirr unveiled his second collection for Alexander McQueen during Paris Fashion Week, and it did not disappoint. The show, held at the École des Beaux-Arts, was filled with mysticism, featuring a smoke-covered runway and references to Irish folklore. The magical atmosphere drew big names such as Salma Hayek, Woosung from The Rose, and Cardi B, who applauded McGirr’s creativity.

Salma Hayek dazzled in the front row wearing a golden sequin dress that combined elegance and comfort thanks to its sophisticated craftsmanship. The actress praised McGirr’s ability to create dramatic pieces that remain wearable. “I never thought something so eye-catching could feel so natural,” she stated.

Meanwhile, Woosung, who attended his first Paris Fashion Week, embraced McGirr’s grunge style, opting for an oversized faux fur coat. Cardi B, on the other hand, stole the show in a lace ensemble, exclaiming, “Give me 14 of these.”

The show ended with a stunning silver gown accompanied by a headdress that appeared to be swept by the wind—a perfect finale for a display filled with drama and artistic vision.
